Poudre Ponds is open to the public, including the section of the Poudre River Trail along with soft surface trails and trailheads within the Poudre Ponds property. Currently, water surface recreation access (SUPs, boating, etc.) is prohibited due to hazards in the pond due to low water levels. Fishing from shore is allowed.

Water surface recreation will be allowed once pond levels rise sufficiently to cover all underwater hazards, and the City will notify users when water surface recreation is again allowed.

All City natural areas are open one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.
