Timed Entry Reservation Required on Saturdays & Sundays

Advisory in Eldorado Canyon State Park, Rocky Mountains, Front Range
Comment

Eldorado Canyon State Park will resume requiring timed reservations to enter the park on Saturdays, Sundays and summer holidays starting May 1 through October 1.

A reservation is not needed when visiting the park during the week.

Reservations can be made 30 days in advance through cpwshop.com. Reservations cannot be booked at the park entrance or visitor center. A minimal number of reserved entries will be open 24 hours in advance. More information can be found on Eldorado Canyon’s website.

Visitors can book two-hour entry windows from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each visitor may book one daily reservation per vehicle with a maximum of four reservations per month. Due to the popularity of the park and the limited number of parking spaces, visitors are encouraged to plan their trip far in advance.

Park visitors can use the free Eldo Shuttle without a vehicle reservation. The shuttle will be available starting on Memorial Day weekend, with various pick-up locations in Boulder County. It operates on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. A valid park pass is needed to enter Eldorado Canyon when using the shuttle.

A $10 daily entrance fee is required for all visitors who do not have an annual pass or the $29 Keep Colorado Wild pass. The KCW pass must be linked to the passholder’s account in the CPW shop store in order to waive the reservation fee.

Due to poor cell service in the area, please print or screenshot the timed entry reservation confirmation form to present to park staff upon arrival.
