Uncompahgre Peak Access-OPEN

Per a new United States Forest Service order on 7/28/26 (link ) the Nellie Creek road and  Uncompahgre Peak trail are OPEN for public access even though the rest of the area is still closed due to Elk Fire. The use is limited to a 300 foot corridor on either side of the road and trail. Please respect the other closures in the area due to the Elk Fire
