The Town of Vail operates one of the largest free public bus systems in the United States. It provides year-round daily transit from roughly 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. The network connects key areas like Vail Village, Lionshead, East Vail, and West Vail, and accommodates skis, snowboards, and bicycles.

Complementary Paratransit & Service Animals

The Town of Vail provides next day wheelchair equipped complementary paratransit service for those who are unable to use our fixed route buses. Individuals interested in utilizing this service must fill out an application which can be found on the Town of Vail’s bus information page.
