Grand Valley Transportation Authority (GVT) is the public bus system for Mesa County that provides bus routes in Grand Junction, Palisade, and Fruita. Riders can buy bus fare on their phone using the Token Transit application, and see real-time bus locations using the TripSpark MyRide application which can be downloaded from the Google Play and Apple App stores.
All GVT buses have bike racks for up to two bikes. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Paratransit service is available for people with mental and physical disabilities who are unable to utilize the Grand Valley Transit (GVT) fixed route system. Only people who have been verified as eligible to use paratransit may use this service. The GVT Paratransit service is a curb-to-curb service only. Customers requiring additional help may have a Personal Care Aide travel with them at no cost.
