Roaring Fork Transit Authority (RFTA) provides commuter bus service between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Springs and Rifle, intra-city service in the cities of Aspen and Glenwood Springs, ski shuttle service to the four Aspen/Snowmass ski areas, the Maroon Bells Shuttles, and a variety of other seasonal services.
RFTA BusTracker tells you where your bus is in real-time and when it will arrive at your stop. To ensure you don’t miss your bus, please be at your stop at least five minutes before the estimated arrival time.
RFTA provides bicycle racks on its valley fleet, allowing cyclists to ride the bus with their bikes between Aspen and Rifle, and points in between. All RFTA valley buses have front-load racks with a capacity of three bikes. It is a first-come, first-served system.
ADA Complementary Paratransit Service
ADA Complementary Paratransit service is provided to individuals who have been qualified with an assessed disability, are unable to independently ride a bus, get on/off a bus, or get to/from a bus stop. Click the link above to learn more about the service and to submit an application.
