Trail Closed

This section of the Poudre River Trail is expected to re-open in early February, 2025. The project was delayed slightly because additional assessment work was required due to changing on-site conditions.

The Poudre River Trail is currently closed between 71st Avenue and 59th Avenue. This project is one of many on the Poudre River Trail that are needed to work with the natural migration of the river, address riverbank stability, and improve trail resilience.  The trail is completely impassable (no detour).

For your safety, obey all posted signage and stay out of work areas.

Sheep Draw Natural Area will be inaccessible during this closure.
