This is a moderately difficult hike of about 5.75 miles round trip. Route and mileage shown is ONE WAY ONLY. Return the way you came. If you pass a sign that says you are entering the Lost Creek Wilderness, you missed the turn to the rock by a couple hundred feet. The turn is not marked, but is very obvious.

Start at the parking lot just off of County Road 77, outside the gate for the Spruce Grove Campground. Do not park in the campground.

Trail is open to hiking and equestrian use only. Dogs must be leashed.  NO BIKES or motorized use.

The trailhead is 14 miles north of US Hwy 24 on Park County Road 77,  which is the first right turn just past the town of Lake George.
