Named for its starting point at Kelly Flats Campground, this classic Colorado OHV route combines the thrill of the climb with endless scenic beauty for the remainder of the ride.

The most challenging portion hits you at the very start – Heart Attack Hill. Half a mile in, you can choose to climb the very steep and loose route (depicted), or take the bypass loop eastward. Beware that the bypass is by no means easy either.

From the top of Heart Attack Hill, you’ll have sweeping views of the valley below. The rest of the ride is generally easier, with the exception of the The Chutes obstacle, if you choose to tackle it. The trails can become extremely muddy after rain, so choose your timing and vehicle wisely.
