Upper Piney River

Great for families and dogs, this hike has it all. Start out at a lodge going along the side of Piney Lake, then make your way along Piney River through pines and meadows. The trail ends at a small but beautiful waterfall.

Make sure you use the public parking and stay on the National Forest service trail and not on the ranch property.

There is also canoeing and fishing available through the lodge at Piney Lake. This trail remains very busy through the summer and into the fall.
