Point Alta Vista

Super easy hike with great views of the Arkansas River and Royal Gorge Bridge at the end.

The parking area/trailhead is just outside a private resort at a curve on County Road 3A, about a 1 1/4 miles south Highway 50.

The trail follows an old abandoned railroad bed, and goes either next to, or on, old trestles.

Much of this trail is on private property, so respect the generosity of the land owner and remain on the trail.
