Distance is one way. This is probably the shortest hike in the park, and is best experienced at sunset, so save it for the end of the day, after you’ve done other hikes. Bring your camera, especially in the fall when the aspens are changing. Note: Dogs are not allowed on any trails in the park. Entry fees do apply. Due to seasonal road closures, add approx. .25 miles round trip from the nearest trailhead in the winter.
