A moderate loop route through the center of Staunton State Park. This loop combines several trails that circles the Staunton Rocks area, with the potential for more loop options depending on the length/challenge you are interested in.

Beginning at the Lazy V Parking Lot, turn right (north) onto the Old Mill Trail. Follow this gently rising, forested trail for ~1 mile. After ~1 mile you will reach the intersection with the Borderline Trail. At around ~1 mile from the intersection make sure to make the short walk out to the Staunton Rocks overlook. Fun views of the valley, rocks, and climbing routes await.

From the overlook, take the Borderline trail another 1 mile (or you can take it an additional 1/4 mile) to the Staunton Ranch Trail. From there a gentle trail through the main valley returns you to the parking lot.

Also note, there are several climbing access trails at varying points along this loop
