Fairly moderate, but long hike in the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness. Hike in from the well-marked and adequate trailhead and parking lot. Please do not use the nearby campground as access unless you are camping there.  Bikes are not allowed, horses are allowed, but also advised against due to trail conditions. Dogs are allowed, and due to wildlife, should be leashed.  There is no water or bathroom facilities and cell service is non-exisitent. Download maps to COTREX app before heading out and save this route to your phone..  Rated difficult due to distance.

Trailhead is 10 miles west of US 285 on County Road 22. CR 22 is a dirt road and is passable by all vehicles, however use caution after rain or snow event.
