Beaver Trail

A moderate 2.5 mile loop trail in the southern portion of the park. The trail alternates between meadows and forests.   Provides great views of Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, the Continental Divide, and Tremont Mountain.

This trail ends at Backcountry Shelter #1 which is available to camp in by reservation only. The official trail does not continue past this point into the Green Ranch section of Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Access to the Green Ranch is prohibited without a special use permit
