The East Valley trail is a 2.25 mile out and back trail that runs most of the length of the park on the east side of the park road. Little shade but nice views, especially of horsetooth reservoir, throughout as the trail meanders through mostly open meadows. This trail can be combined with the west valley Trail for a nice ~5 mile loop through the park. There are multiple spurs down to the lakeshore along the trail.
