The South Rim trail is a very scenic 2.75 mile loop trail through the southern part of the park. It can be done from either the main state park trailhead or the willow creek trailhead. The main trailhead offers a few more red rocks to wind through but either is scenic and offers the chance to enjoy the parks flora and fauna. The back side of the loop offers the best views while the flowers and wildlife are best on the front side, meaning there is always something to enjoy.
