This is a ~5 mile section of the much longer Cherry Creek Trail. This just covers the portion of the trail in the park. An easy and popular trail it covers the entire west side of the park and multiple habitat types (including the Cherry Creek Reservoir) before departing north of the dam. Wildlife viewing is also popular along the trail in addition to the scenery along the way
