The Twin Sisters is a beautiful dual summit mountain on the very eastern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. This 3.7 mile (7.4 mile roundtrip) out and back trail climbs steadily and steeply at times, from the parking lot to the summit, which are just above treeline. The views from the top are superb, looking west across the valley to the impressive Long’s Peak or looking east above the front range, the views  are everywhere. There is a section of trail that was rerouted several years ago due to water/flood damage but the entire trail is easy to follow and open year round.
