Lookout Mountain Trail

The Lookout Mountain trail is a ~2.4 mile trail leading to an interesting summit located on the eastern edge of Rocky Mountain national Park. Using a much smaller trailhead than most in Rocky Mountain NP, the trail climbs steadily and at times steeply through forest until very near the summit. From near the summit the views become much better in all directions. The actual summit block, resembling a rock surfboard, does involve a couple technical moves.
