Ouzel Falls
The moderate 2.6 mile out and back trail to Ouzel Falls is a great hiking option for those that love waterfalls. In addition to the impressive 40 foot Ouzel Falls, you will also pass Copeland Falls and the Calypso Cascades. This trail melts out earlier than other trails in the region that go to higher destinations. Early in the summer the falls are there biggest but can be enjoyed all season.
There are multiple backcountry sites near the trail as well (make sure to check with park/website as reservations are required and usually sell out not long after being made public).
The Wild Basin Trailhead is located in the Wild Basin area in Southeast Rocky Mountain National Park (be sure to consult the website or the park directly for parking/entry information).
