Pear Reservoir is a scenic alpine lakes in the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s reached via moderate but long ~6.2 mile trail leaving from the Finch lake trailhead. The trail is a continuation of the trail to Finch lake (around ~2 miles from Finch Lake). Most of the is moderate with a couple steep sections between the lakes. The views really open up you approach the lake as the trail gets to eastern shore of Pear Reservoir with unofficial trails along the rest of the lake.

This is normally done as a day hike but there are multiple backcountry sites along the route (make sure to check with park/website as reservations are required and usually sell out not long after being made public).

The Finch Lake Trailhead is located in the Wild Basin area in Southeast Rocky Mountain National Park (be sure to consult the website or the park directly for parking/entry information).
