Mirror Lake is a very beautiful alpine lake at the northern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s reached via moderate but long ~6.25 mile trail leaving from the Corral Creek trailhead. Starting at Corral Creek you initially are on the Corral Creek trail before joining with the Poudre River Trail. After ~1.75 miles you will take a left on the Mummy Pass trail. You will do some climbing in the forest before reaching the Mirror Lake trail at ~4.75 miles from the trailhead. The last ~1.5 miles climbs through more and more scenic terrain before finally reaching the shores of Mirror Lake with unofficial trails leading around the lake.

This can be done as a day hike but there are multiple backcountry sites along the route (make sure to check with park/website as reservations are required and usually sell out not long after being made public).

The Corral Creek Trailhead is located outside Rocky Mountain National Park near the end of Long Draw Road, accessed via Hwy 14.  The gate down long draw road is open seasonally so contact the Roosevelt National Forest for current conditions.
