Serpents Trail
Featured Route
This moderate ~1.9 mile out and back trail was once called “the crookedest road in the world,” this historic trail has 16 switchbacks. The trail climbs steadily from east to west through Wingate Sandstone. This route was built in the early 1900s, and remained part of the main road until 1950 when Rim Rock Drive was completed.
