Trail Notes: This wheelchair-friendly route is a section of the longer Rio Grande Trail that connects Aspen to Glenwood Springs. This section begins at the Rio Grande Trailhead in downtown Aspen, and ends at the outskirts of town at the Henry Stein Trailhead, making it a manageable out-and-back gentle stroll from town.
Habitat and Wildlife: This section provides beautiful views of pine forest, aspen, groves, the Roaring Fork River, and local wildlife.
