Lions Head Summit

Lions Head Summit hike, using the most direct and shortest route from the Lazy V Trailhead.

The actual distance is approximately 8 miles.

The last stretch of the Lions Head Trail past the Elk Falls overlook is closed seasonally to protect raptor nesting.  Check with the park before going if the summit is your goal.

Leashed dogs permitted.

Park entry fee or Keep Colorado Wild pass required,
