11 Mile State Park Big Loop

Easy loop hike on the trails in 11 Mile State Park. It not only goes along the shoreline, but also into the aspen groves that are in the north east corner of this loop.

Note that while bikes are allowed in the park, they are not allowed along the Black Bear loop (lower left corner of this route). Also part of this trail goes by backcountry campsites, so do not wander off trail into campsites and be mindful of any noise you make if you’re hiking early in the morning or late in the evening. Do not occupy a campsite without a reservation.

Leashed dogs are allowed. Pick up after your dog.

Colorado State Park entry fees (day pass or Keep Colorado Wild pass) apply.

Body contact with the water is not permitted in the reservoir.
