Cookie Tree Trail

The Cookie Tree Trail is a scenic an easy out and back trail overlooking the scenic Ridgway Reservoir in Ridgway State Park. The Cookie Tree trail can begin at the Cookie Tree Trailhead along the lake or from above at the Visitor Center. Along the trail you walk along the lakeshore and get amazing views from above. You can combine the Cookie Tree Trail with the Marmot Run, Scenic Overlook, Forest Discovery, Pinyon Park, or Wapiti Trails for a varied and longer hiking experience in the park
