Bluestem Prairie Loop

This 8 mile loop at Bluestem Prairie Open Space offers an easy option for all recreationists including beginner bike riders. With back drops spanning the Front Range and the Sangre De Cristo mountains there are breath taking views along the whole trail. During the summer, when the reservoir is full, Bluestem is home to a variety of bird species. Through the whole year you will be able to catch glimpses of prong horn antelope and hear the squeaks of black tailed prairie dogs.
