Lost Man Lake

Start at Lost Man trailhead off hwy 82. Can get crowded in summer, so start early. Beautiful hike to two lakes, Independence Lake first then Lost Man Lake. Frequent stream crossings but as long as runoff isn’t too bad, they’re easy to do without getting wet. Last section is steep to get up the saddle before descending to Lost Man Lake. Lots of wildflowers, pikas, and marmots!
