This hike offers gorgeous view of the two Buffalo Peaks and surrounding mountain ranges across the valley of South Park. Primitive campsites can be found around Buffalo Meadows and at the Lynch Creek + Rough and Tumbling creek junction. Water is generally available at both of those spots but, especially, at Lynch Creek.

Flat primitive camping areas can be found on the north side of this meadow

Continue Hiking

Tumble Creek Trail

This trail crosses the Rough and Tumbling Creek (at times, crossings may be difficult depending on water level). Campsites can be found once meeting Lynch Creek around the junction for the Lynch Creek Trailhead trail.
