Trailhead

After getting to the park, take the park road down to the last trailhead to find this route.

Start Biking (Shoreline Trail)
For ¼mi
Start on the shoreline trail for an easy introduction to the route. Along the way, enjoy the unique rock formations scattered around the park. If you are lucky, you may even run into a local geology class on a field expedition!

At this point in the trail, take a left onto Quarry Ridge! If you are hiking this tail, keep an eye out for mountain bikers.

Observation Point

Enjoy the beautiful bucolic views along the ridge as you travel down the Quarry Loop Trail. Take a look to your right to see the Horsetooth Reservoir, and keep an eye on the skies to see Black Billed magpies that nest in the area
