This loop will start out as a pretty strenuous hike, with a lot of uphill travel on Scout Line trail, but it’s pretty easy after that. The views on the Scout Line Trail are pretty spectacular.  Lazy V trailhead is not shown. It is within a few hundred feet of the Old Mill/Scout Line/Staunton Ranch Trails intersection. The “Elk Falls” show on the map is an overlook of the falls. The falls are actually at “Chimney Rock”
