Park at the Stevens Gulch Winter Trailhead. Please give room to snowmobile trailers and keep dogs on leash while in the parking area. Follow the road as far as your legs will take you. It is a steady climb for many miles. During winter 2022-23, there will likely be logging operations on Stevens Gulch Rd. The USFS has created a “bypass trail” and this is very well marked with signs and flagging. Logging trucks are very dangerous and people have been hurt in the past. Please respect the road closure.
