Clear Spring Ranch Trail

An easy going, no frills trail system just south of Colorado Springs. This area is excellent (and very popular) for horseback riding, however the trail is open to bikes and foot traffic as well. The parking area is large and can accommodate many vehicles and horse trailers. The trail itself is well kept, well marked and offers a wide open feel in farm land with a river that runs parallel to the trail. The park is open dawn until dusk. All in all, I didn’t rate this trail very high as the views are just “okay” and there’s not much varying terrain or interesting features to speak of, however if you’re looking for a quick afternoon jaunt, something easy or enjoy more flat terrain for running or horseback riding, definitely give this trail a shot!
