Cascade Falls
The Cascade Falls follows the North Inlet trail that can also be used to reach Lake Nokoni and Lake Nanita. Cascade Falls is a pretty waterfall that is ~ 3.3 miles from the North Inlet Trailhead. The trail alternates between open meadows and forests, as well as areas that burned in the East Troublesome Fire.
This is often done a day hike but there are multiple backcountry sites along the route (make sure to check with park/website as reservations are required and usually sell out not long after being made public) that are frequently used to reach the higher alpine lakes much further up the trail.
The North Inlet Trailhead is located just north of Grand Lake in Southwest Rocky Mountain National Park (be sure to consult the website or the park directly for parking/entry information).
